The following transactions may be conducted by resident customers through the SML implemented by the Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina with the central banks of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay:

    1. Collections from Argentine exports of related goods and services to the above countries, documented in Argentine pesos.
    2. Payments for Argentine imports of related goods and services from the above countries, documented in the legal tender of the counterparty country.
    3. Pensions and other retirement benefits paid by pension institutions of the participating countries when there is a bilateral agreement entered into by those institutions.
    4. Return of transactions previously carried out through this System.

In the case of the Federative Republic of Brazil transactions, the term of payment shall not exceed 360 calendar days.

The use thereof is voluntary. It is only applicable to transactions for the trading of goods, including services and expenses related thereto, such as freight and insurance costs, provided that it is previously agreed upon between importer and exporter as a sale condition.
